  • E-Visa Application:
    • Apply online via the official Tanzania eVisa portal before departure.
    • Processing can take 2–10 business days, so plan accordingly.
    • Electronic approval minimizes queues at the airport.
  • Multiple Entry & East African Tourist Visa:
    • Options are available for those planning to travel to neighboring Kenya, Uganda, or Rwanda.
    • These visas can be applied for in advance and offer more flexibility for extended trips.
 
Vaccinations and Health Precautions

Staying healthy while traveling is essential:

  • Yellow Fever Vaccination:
    • Mandatory if you are arriving from or have transited through countries with yellow fever risk.
    • Travelers must present an International Certificate of Vaccination upon entry.
  • Additional Recommended Vaccinations:
    • Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Tetanus, and in some cases, Rabies.
