- Hotel & Lodge Staff:
- Porters: US$1–2 per bag is customary.
- Housekeeping: Leave US$3–5 per day as a token of appreciation.
- Waitstaff: If service charges aren’t included, a 10% tip on the bill is recommended.
- Trekking (Kilimanjaro, Meru, etc.):
- Head Guide: US$15–25 per day.
- Assistant Guide: US$10–15 per day.
